Realestate.co.nz is moving to a paid-only listing model, meaning the free standard listing option from April will no longer be available. To ensure continued visibility for rental properties, all Crockers clients will now be listed under the new paid model.
What’s Changing?
Previously, standard listings on realestate.co.nz provided minimal exposure. With the shift to a paid model, Crockers has negotiated a deal that maximises visibility without increasing costs for clients. Under this agreement, properties listed through Crockers will be promoted listings — appearing at the top of search results — for the same price as a standard listing ($49.00 + GST).
Why This Matters
Realestate.co.nz has seen significant growth in the rental market, particularly among overseas arrivals who may be less familiar with Trade Me. Expanding marketing reach is increasingly important, especially as vacancy rates have risen compared to last year.
