Why get a rental appraisal?
If you own the property, a rental appraisal will ensure that you've set the weekly rent at the best possible level to maximise your returns in a sustainable way. Set the rent too high and you'll struggle to find or retain good tenants, but set the rent too low and you'll be missing out on the best returns!

When should you get a rental appraisal?
Take one look at the news and you'll know just how fast the property market moves in New Zealand, especially in Auckland! With changes in both property values AND weekly rents happening so rapidly, it's important to be as up to date as possible.
When setting your weekly rent or assessing properties/calculating finance, we recommend having a rental appraisal that is no more than six months old.
