Crockers Property Management has taken out the prestigious ‘Residential Property Management Large Office of the Year’ Award at the 2020 REINZ Awards for Excellence.
Crockers’ Business Development Manager Shanon Aitken was also named a finalist in the Residential Property Management Business Development Manager of the Year category at the awards ceremony.
The 2020 REINZ Awards for Excellence were held at the Cordis Auckland and saw 41 awards handed out to agents from different sectors of the industry. The awards were created to reward excellence and aim to raise the bar of the real estate profession.
The annual awards are a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate organisations' and individuals' outstanding performances and contributions across the New Zealand real estate industry.
Bindi Norwell, Chief Executive at REINZ, said the awards celebrate the best of the best.
“Every year we have a significant number of high-calibre entries, many of whom have won their own local or agency awards, making for some extremely tough competition."
The successful night was a bright spot in what has been a difficult year for everyone, with lockdowns and social distancing measures imposing new ways of working on the property industry.
Crockers is very proud of the Residential Property Management team’s success.
“We’re so excited to have won this prestigious award in the midst of the seemingly never ending challenge that is 2020”, said Helen O'Sullivan, Chief Executive of Crockers.
“Our property management team have flexed and pivoted and flexed again this year. They have coped with multiple challenges, from iso-working in lockdown, through remote property inspections, to working with tenants and landlords to manage Covid related hardship, and more. We’re incredibly proud of all the team has achieved this year, and grateful to our landlords and tenants for the opportunity to work with them. We couldn’t do any of it without you. Karawhiua!”.
