Joe Schellack
General Manager - Property ManagementJoe has been part of our team since 2009. He started as a Property Manager and has since risen through the ranks, taking on roles as Team Leader and General Manager. Joe is currently at the helm of the largest single office property management company in New Zealand.
Thanks to his extensive knowledge in all aspects of Property Management, Joe has been instrumental in driving a transformation of our core business. By leveraging people, processes, structure, and systems, he's helped us achieve success and growth in a rapidly evolving market. Joe's focus on ensuring all key business components support each other has resulted in improved internal efficiencies, increased transparency of target tracking and achievement, and higher levels of service for our clients.
Joe's leadership and expertise have been invaluable in guiding our team and helping us to achieve our goals. We're proud to have him as part of the Crockers whānau, and we look forward to many more years of his guidance and leadership.

Shanon Aitken
General Manager - Business Development & MarketingShanon is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the property management industry. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Property Management, which he pursued while simultaneously working full time over the course of several years. Additionally, Shanon possesses a Bachelor of Applied Science degree, showcasing his commitment to continuous learning.
Shanon has had an impressive journey at Crockers Property Group since joining in 2007. Starting as a property manager, he has consistently demonstrated his dedication and expertise, steadily progressing within the company. Over the years, Shanon has excelled in various roles within the Property Management and Body Corporate teams. At present, Shanon oversees the Crocker Group's Residential, Commercial Property Management, and Body Corporate New Business and Marketing Teams. Leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience, he plays a crucial role in driving growth and attaining outstanding outcomes for the wider company.
One of Shanon's notable strengths lies in his understanding of the New Zealand property market. Having weathered its booms and busts, he has gained invaluable insights into the dynamics and intricacies of the property landscape. Shanon's expertise extends to the Unit Titles and the Residential Tenancies Act, underscoring his comprehensive knowledge of the legal frameworks governing the industry.

Mark Steyn
Senior Business Development ManagerAt Crockers, Mark is a key part of our business development team, where he brings on new business for our property management team to nurture. He finds it a privilege doing this, because Crockers are always striving to be better, and in order to do that, they employ some of the most talented and experienced property managers in the industry. Mark is a great communicator with new clients, and certainly promotes with confidence, knowing that they will be well looked after.
Mark has a few great passions in life. The first is his darling wife, she deserves a special medal for putting up with him for over 30 years. His sons come next and it is wonderful to see them not just standing on their own two feet but building lives for themselves that will serve them well into the future.
Then comes his hobbies, cricket and photography. He coaches cricket at his local club, giving him great pleasure watching young cricketers blossom and some going onto greater levels. As for his photography, he says he’s still on a steep learning curve but enjoying every moment!

Leon Ma
Senior Business Development ManagerLeon began his career in the property industry with a Chinese state-owned development & construction company. After returning to Auckland, he continued his journey in the field, joining Crockers Property as a Senior Business Development Manager.
As an active residential property investor & expert, Leon has firsthand insight into the needs of property owners and is committed to delivering the high-quality service they deserve. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, he leverages his multilingual skills to better serve both landlords and tenants in Auckland's culturally diverse market.

Daman Kang
Business Development ManagerDaman joined Crockers in 2024 as a Business Development Manager. Her career in real estate began as a property manager, where she honed her skills in managing properties efficiently. Progressing to Head of Property Management allowed her to deepen her industry knowledge and leadership abilities.
Now, as a Business Development Manager, Daman is dedicated to enhancing her skills further and contributing positively to the company's growth trajectory. Renita Singh
Senior Team LeaderRenita moved to New Zealand from the beautiful tropical Island of Fiji in 2006. She has immense knowledge of people management and has been in various leadership roles over the years.
Renita joined Crockers in 2020 where she leads, supports and develops our team of Property Managers, and is very proud to be part of the Crockers group.
She loves the challenges her role brings and enjoys the variety of work that each day brings. Renita works very closely with her team members and clients to provide them with positive experiences and legendary service.
Renita spends her spare time with family, friends, and her puppy.

Ben Torrance
Team LeaderBen has been around the industry his entire life, with both his parents having worked in Real Estate, property has been a part of his upbringing. Having started in Property Management in 2010, initially specialising in letting, where he honed his skills in matching suitable tenants with properties.
Not long after this, he took over his first apartment portfolio, developing a strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and units in a Body Corporate before heading over to the UK.
After several years working in the industry in the vast London market, Ben returned to Auckland in 2016 and joined the Crockers City Apartment team. With his variety of experiences and strong knowledge of the city apartment market, he now uses this to lead the City Team at Crockers.

BTR ManagerAs the head of Crockers BTR, Caleb is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our BTR team to ensure that both residents and investors receive the highest level of service. Drawing from his extensive experience in property management, Caleb is committed to maintaining a standard of excellence throughout all aspects of our business.
From managing residential properties and apartment complexes to investing in property himself, Caleb brings a wealth of knowledge to his role at Crockers BTR. Natalee Butcher
Executive Living SpecialistNatalee is part of our Executive Living Specialist team, she is a seasoned expert in managing executive rentals, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to every property she oversees. With her meticulous attention to detail and dedication to excellence, you can trust that your home is in the best hands, ensuring seamless management and exceptional care.
Natalee joined the property industry in 2012. during that time, she has added to her residential property management experience by combining it with a Bachelor of Property degree, giving her the expertise and skills to take your investment to the next level. In her free time, Natalee loves volunteering and is currently working at the Hospice shop. She enjoys travel, the gym and spending time with her two ragdoll cats, Milky and Chic Choc.

Lima Sinclair
Senior Leasing AgentLima joined Crockers back in 2005 and during that time she has been fortunate enough to have worked in various roles within the company. She started her role as a part-time receptionist and then as a vacancy became available in Leasing she moved into that role and hasn’t looked back. Lima is our Senior Leasing Agent and does a fantastic job dealing with both landlords and tenants alike.

Kishon Anufe
Leasing AgentKishon joined Crockers in 2016 as a receptionist and worked in the role for 5 years, during that time she helped in other departments, which she really enjoyed, with the variety these roles produced.
Kishon enjoys meeting new people and when a leasing role presented itself she decided to try something different and expand her love for dealing with people. This new aspect of the job has indeed brought variety and flexibility, Kishon does a fantastic job by putting both landlord and tenants at ease and enjoys the fascinating diversity of people she gets to interact with on a daily basis.

James Cowan
Senior Site ManagerJames commenced at Crockers in January 2023 and comes to us with vast experience in Sales & Marketing and more recently in Tourism, Hospitality and Hotels as a General Manager.
In his last role, James was a Building Manager at a serviced apartment property which comprised of 276 units, in the Auckland CBD. So, with this blend of experience, James is excited to develop and grow our Build-to-Rent offering for Park Tower. He also engages with the wider Property teams, builds a sense of community within the complex, retains our valued tenants, and helps mentor the Park Tower team.
In his spare time, James likes to tinker with cars, entertain friends and family, search for Auckland’s best Date Scone and get out on the Waitemata harbour.

Amanda Wang
Property ManagerAmanda has been living in New Zealand for over 20 years and has a strong background in several large service-based companies. Her hospitality experience has allowed her to develop great people and organizational skills that she now applies to property management. Over several years working as a property manager, the experience has given her the ability to communicate effectively and to provide excellent organisational support.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, she has the ability to add value to customers’ investment and maximise their returns over time. Amanda is passionate about our industry and is highly committed to providing an incredible experience to her clients.

Bobette Hicks
Property ManagerBo has been in the property management industry since 2002 and has a real passion for property. Having her own investment residential properties to manage in the past, she knew she could put these skills to use for many other property owners.
Bo has an ability to communicate with people from all walks of life which helps to create a great rapport with landlords, contractors and tenants alike. She is highly organised, multi-tasks extremely well, and is able to meet shifting priorities while remaining calm and productive under pressure. Property Management AssistantCharles is a part of our dedicated homes team for Build-to-Rent projects. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration, he brings a wealth of experience and skills to his role. Before joining us, Charles worked for a motor car company in Korea and then went on to become a Korean teacher at schools in New Zealand. For 25 years, Charles engaged in exchange programs between Korea and New Zealand.
As a Property Management assistant at Park Tower, Charles is committed to providing excellent customer service and takes a personalised approach in looking after the tenants. His warm and friendly manner makes tenants feel welcome and valued, and his dedication to his role is evident in the way he treats each tenant with care and respect. Deyna Swann
Property ManagerDeyna has been working in Property Management for nearly 20 years and prior to starting at Crockers took time off to travel and live overseas for 3 years.
She started at Crockers in 2009 and loved the office atmosphere and comradery between her peers, it made coming to work an enjoyable experience. Her main role has been as a Property Manager but has also had roles in Reception, when she worked part-time after starting her family. She was then lucky enough to come back into the Property Management department once her children started school.
Property Management is a very busy industry where you have to remain calm, focused and organised. Deyna is that and more! She strives to do her best for both the Landlord and the tenant and believes that all people need to be treated with respect and dignity.

Heather MacBride
Property ManagerHeather has been a major team player at Crockers since 2001 and prior to this held many varied work experiences, ranging from computer programming, social work to teaching.
She loves the variety and flexibility this role offers and also the fascinating diversity of people she gets to interact with in Auckland's property market.

Irfan Ali
Property ManagerWhen it comes to Property Management, experience and knowledge are key. Irfan started in the real estate industry back in 2013 and has picked up a wealth of experience and knowledge, particularly in the Auckland area. He also has a background in business management, having previously enjoyed roles within a large organisation.

She began her real estate career in 2017 and having steadily climbed each rung of the ladder, she now proudly holds the position of Senior Property Manager. Coming from an education consulting and marketing field for many years, Jane is friendly, approachable, and well-organised. Property ManagerJay joined Crockers in 2012 where she started out in our Body Corporate division and stayed in that role for a couple of years. When an opportunity opened up for a Property Manager Jay jumped at the chance, this is where Jay's true calling was. She is a great property manager and works well with both the landlords and tenants she deals with.
The best part of the role is the variety, finding that no two days are the same. The role can often be challenging but Jay has the right temperament and gets things done... She loves the work she does and finds it really rewarding.

Ji Sung
Property ManagerJi joined Crockers in 2016 and has been in the Property Management industry for over 10 years.
Ji’s strengths lie in being able to build trusted relationships with landlords, tenants, and trade suppliers. Kathy Qu
Property ManagerKathy finished her bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2015 at Jinan University, Guangzhou. The four years of study has set her up with great skills for management. After her graduation, she moved to New Zealand to start her new life.
Kathy has been living in Auckland for six years and knows the city well. For the past few years she has been working in the Airbnb sector which has helped her gain an overview insight into the industry and knows the trend of the market.
She has now chosen a path in property management which she is embracing. Kathy always has an open mind for new challenges and is never afraid of change. With nearly five years of experience in the property management industry, including time at other well-known companies, Kyle was drawn to this field by the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life and to make a real difference in their rental experience.
Strong communication is a core value they live by. Being clear, responsive, and approachable is key to building trust with both landlords and tenants. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, he is able to support a diverse range of clients and ensure that nothing gets lost in translation.

Mike Springett
Property ManagerMike has been working in the Property Management industry for over 19 years and joined Crockers in 2004. He is an honest and straight-talking Property Manager who believes that communicating with both landlords and tenants is paramount to achieve the best outcomes.

Rebecca Lockyer

As an overseas owner who has recently sold my Auckland studio apartment I'm pleased to recommend Rebecca Lockyer, Property Manager - Central City Specialist at Crockers' Property Management Ltd as a capable and highly committed professional.
Rebecca has efficiently managed my rental apartment from June 2006 to June 2015 (with an approximate 18-month break in between). Rebecca's excellent management has provided for a stable rental income, tenants who have looked after the apartment, and seen that necessary repairs and maintenance were taken care of.
The current good condition of the apartment has been an asset to its recent sale. Robin Chen
Property ManagerRobin has been living in New Zealand since 2003. He loves to travel and explore the world. Actually, he loves to travel so much that he decided to spend more time in New Zealand working in the property industry.
Prior to this, Robin worked for a world-famous luxury hotel as a hotel manager for about 5 years. This work experience gave him strong people skills, attention to detail and a can-do attitude, hence he was easily employed by Crockers in 2018.
Robin started as a junior property manager and managed to grow his portfolio to a senior level in 2 years. Robin comes from an accounting background so he knows his number. He is also fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.

Sam Bai
Property ManagerSam joined Crockers in 2025 and enjoys being part of a supportive and experienced team. As a Property Manager, he focuses on clear communication, problem-solving, and delivering great service to both landlords and tenants.
He has worked in the property industry since 2016, starting with short-term rentals like Airbnb before transitioning into long-term residential management. Having lived in New Zealand for 13 years, Sam holds a Hotel Management degree from AUT, which shaped his professional, responsive, and people-focused approach to customer service.
What drives Sam is helping clients feel confident that their property is in good hands. He brings calm, attention to detail, and a solutions-first mindset to every situation.

Sam McGarry
Property ManagerSam has been at Crockers since 2022. She has found a passion for Property Management, building connections and trust with the people she meets every day. With past experiences in retail sales and retail management, Sam is accustomed to the hustle and bustle of people management and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
In addition to being successful in her role as a property manager, Sam leads a fulfilling and active personal life. During her downtime, she can often be found spending quality time with her beloved dog, exploring new travel destinations, or simply relaxing and unwinding with her loved ones.

Wini Melo
Property ManagerWini joined the Crockers Property Management team in June 2025, bringing over a decade of administrative expertise across a range of industries, including real estate.
Originally from Brazil and calling New Zealand home since 2008, Wini has built a strong foundation in office support, team coordination, and marketing. Her experience also includes managing social media and supporting successful campaign delivery.
Wini’s approachable nature, problem-solving mindset, and genuine passion for helping people make her a valued part of the team.
